These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Bitey (“Bitey”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and our website, web application, and related services (the “Service”).
By accessing or using Bitey, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) The Service
Bitey provides a web-based platform that allows users to create, manage, and publish digital menus (including QR-code menus) for restaurants and similar businesses.
We may modify, update, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
2) Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to use Bitey.
By using the Service, you represent that you have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the business you represent.
3) Accounts and registration
Account creation
You may create an account using:
email and password, or
supported third-party login providers (such as Google or Facebook).
You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account information up to date.
Account security
You are responsible for:
maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials,
all activity that occurs under your account.
Notify us immediately at support@bitey.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
use the Service for unlawful, misleading, or fraudulent purposes,
upload or publish content you do not have rights to,
publish content that is offensive, abusive, or infringes third-party rights,
interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks,
attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5) Your content
Ownership
You retain ownership of the content you create or upload to Bitey, including restaurant details and menu content (“User Content”).
License to Bitey
You grant Bitey a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your User Content, including its accuracy and legality.
6) Public menus
Menus you publish via Bitey (for example through QR codes or public links) may be accessible to the public.
Do not include personal or confidential information in public menu content.
7) Fees and payments
Some features of Bitey may be offered for a fee. Pricing, billing terms, and payment details will be displayed before you purchase.
Unless otherwise stated:
fees are non-refundable,
prices may be subject to applicable taxes.
We may change pricing or plans with notice.
8) Third-party services
The Service may integrate with or rely on third-party services (such as Google or Facebook for login).
Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. Bitey is not responsible for third-party services.
9) Suspension and termination
By you
You may stop using the Service at any time.
To request account deletion, contact support@bitey.com.
By us
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
you violate these Terms,
we are required to do so by law,
your use poses a security or legal risk.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will end.
10) Data deletion
When your account is deleted:
your user account and associated restaurants, menus, categories, and items will be deleted where feasible,
some data may be retained temporarily in backups or where legally required.

11) Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bitey disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
12) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Bitey will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages,
Bitey’s total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to Bitey in the 12 months preceding the claim (or zero if you used the free version).
13) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bitey and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of:
your use of the Service,
your User Content,
your violation of these Terms.
14) Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
15) Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
